This 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish is a 2+2 coupe finished in Quantum Silver over Obsidian Black Bridge of Weir leather and is powered by a 5.9-liter AM29 V12 linked to a six-speed automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes Gloss Black 20? 20-spoke diamond-turned wheels, Carbon Ceramic Matrix brake rotors, an active damping system, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, a carbon-fiber roof panel, a leather headliner, and a One77 steering wheel with carbon-fiber shift paddles. The car was delivered new to San Diego European Motorcars Ltd. and spent time in California and Florida before the current owner’s 2022 purchase. They have since added approximately 700 of the 20k indicated miles. This Vanquish is now offered in California on dealer consignment with a window sticker, service records, an Aston Martin-branded umbrella, two glass Emotion Control Unit (ECU) key fobs, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title.
The Vanquish utilizes an extruded aluminum and composite bonded chassis, and it was the first Aston Martin to be equipped with carbon-fiber body panels. This car is finished in Quantum Silver (5073D) and equipped with a carbon-fiber roof, mirror caps, and side strakes as well as a black five-bar grille, swan doors, xenon headlights, a rear spoiler, parking sensors, and integrated black textured exhaust outlets. Stone chips on the nose were touched up in February 2024. Damage is visible on the underside of the carbon-fiber front spoiler and damage to passenger-side carbon-fiber trim was noted in a service record.
Gloss Black 20? 20-spoke diamond-turned alloy wheels were a $5,680 option, and they are mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires measuring 255/35 up front and 305/30 out back. The car is equipped with an adaptive damping system, and stopping power is handled by red Aston Martin-branded calipers mounted over cross-drilled and ventilated Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) rotors at each corner.
The 2+2 interior is equipped with heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats and individual rear seats trimmed in Obsidian Black Bridge of Weir leather with lighter stitching. Herringbone and Shadow Bronze trim adorn the cockpit, and it is further equipped with red Vanquish front headrest embroidery, a Bang & Olufsen BeoSound sound system, a leather headliner, automatic climate control, and an infotainment system with a pop-up screen and navigation.
The leather- and Alcantara-trimmed One77 steering wheel sits ahead of column-mounted carbon-fiber shift paddles and frames factory instrumentation. The digital odometer indicates 20k miles, approximately 700 of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.9-liter V12 features quad overhead cams and dual variable valve timing. The front timing cover gasket and valve cover gaskets were replaced in January 2023 and the oil was changed and oxygen sensors were replaced in February 2024.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a Touchtronic 2 six-speed automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A TCM software update was performed in January 2023.
The window sticker notes initial delivery to San Diego European Motorcars Ltd. and lists factory equipment, colors, options, and a total suggested retail price of $321,185. A car cover, a tire inflation kit, service records, and two glass Emotion Control Unit (ECU) keys are also included in the sale.
